Annie’s first set of twins arrived at a much more decent hour; first a very nice ewe lamb weighing 10 lbs 13 ozs and then a great little ram lamb at 9 lbs 1 oz.

2:30 a.m.
Little Gracie gives birth to a beautiful ewe lamb, 9 lbs 4 ozs
6:00 a.m.
Daisy adds another ewe lamb to the barn, 9 lbs 14 ozs
Later in the evening, Athena presents two ram lambs. The first one is a feisty little fellow, born with an ‘o-hawk’ and an attitude. Of course he has been named Owen (after former WVU full-back Owen Schmidt.) He weighed 8 lbs 4 ozs.
His brother born shortly after weighed 11 lbs 9 ozs
Poor Hera has looked miserable for weeks now. We were speculating… could she be having triplets?
No… just twins, but two pretty big lambs – a white ram lamb weighing 11 lbs 2 ozs and a black ewe lamb weighing 10 lbs. They were born very vigorous and aggressive and had no problem figuring out how to nurse very quickly. They are Coopworth-Border Leicester X Wensleydale-Coopworth.
Kelly blessed us this morning with this precious little ewe lamb, and Lena has already named her Heather. She weighed 8 lbs 4 ozs, and is a registered Border Leicester.
This little fellow weighed 10 lbs 5 ozs and at first glance seems to have a huge left eye. When you look closer he has a thin black spot on both his lower and upper eye lid giving the appearance of black eye liner. Hazel is the proud mama of this ram lamb.
Our girl, Hebe, produced another lovely ewe lamb weighing 12 lbs 4 ozs in another not so lovely middle of night delivery.

A wonderful little ram lamb born this a.m. On second thought his mother, Rosey Posey, probably didn’t think he was so little. He weighed in at 13 lbs.
Spring has Officially Arrived
With the arrival of the first lambs, Spring Is Here!! (The Long Awaited)
Hope, one of our registered Border Leicesters, gave us these bee-yoo-tee-ful twin ewe lambs this morning, to a cold day with bright sunshine peeking through the open barn doors.
They weigh in at a healthy 10 lb 5 oz and 9 lb 5 oz.
